After the holidays, we decided to take advantage of our vacation time and take a little trip up to Lake Arrowhead to enjoy some remnants of snow. It was actually the perfect day to go because there were these piles of snow all over the place but it wasn't actively snowing and the weather was nice enough to not have to purchase a bunch of cold weather gear. The snow was pretty sparse the day we left so we truly couldn't have planned it any better. We had several snow fights, built a couple of miniature snowmen and dug for snow that was clean enough (kind of) to eat.
The hotel was probably the highlight of the trip. My kids love hotels. They didn't want to leave.
They also don't hate restaurants. Especially not ones that serve hot chocolate that looks like this.
