This is Liam last year at the pumpkin patch. He was totally uncooperative when it came down to posing in front of the big scarecrow holding a "How tall this fall?" sign (which is why I have that rediculous look on my face I think) but we snapped a couple anyway and I'm so glad we did.

This last one is him this year. I think every parent always says that children grow way too fast. Not just in size but in maturity. I've been very thankful for that at times. When things get rough it's comforting to know it won't last forever. But when things are super fun it makes me really sad. I mean, look at that kid. A baby one day and a big boy only 12 months later. I won't say that I want time to freeze because I'm so looking forward to many, many trips to the pumpkin patch but I will say it could maybe slow down a tiny bit.
