'Tis the life of a mom when you sign up to do something just for you and you prepare for months only to have the kids get sick the day before the event. Lucky for me, my little Motrin filled troopers hung in there with the help of my amazingly wonderful in-laws and we all survived. AND had a great time. AND I completed my first 5K! Booyah! I don't know why I felt a "booyah!" was in order. I haven't said that since I was 12.
I did NOT take my camera to a mud pit so these photos were all taken by my friend's husband.
