Preschool

Liam is starting preschool! Excuse me while I go sob into my pillow. Believe it or not he starts Kindergarten in Fall 2014 which means if he's going to preschool, this is the year. We did a lot of praying, discussing, tossing around of ideas and freaking out in the middle of the night (on my part) and we decided on a school. There's no commitment so if it's a complete disaster we can always try something else or just wait until Kindergarten. Doesn't this seem too early? Not just to me because I'm his mom but doesn't four years old seem like crazy early to send your kid off into the world (for 3 hours twice a week)? Anyway, he's not quite on board yet but he turns four in August so he keeps saying that he will go to school when he's "big and four" and that is exactly what is going to happen. His first day of school is the week after his birthday so I'm hoping to roll it all together into one big lets-have-a-batman-party-and-give-you-a-power wheels Jeep-and-eat-cake-and-send-you-off-to-school-alone kind of week. Maybe he won't notice?
