Anyone recognize the title of this post as a Jim Carrey quote? Well, it is and I've been using it far too often since Liam had his first ever Tee Ball practice last week. I'm pretty sure there's not anything much cuter than a group of four year olds fumbling around chasing rampant baseballs and trying to be patient and learn how to play a new and complex sport with a foreign object like a glove on their hand. Liam learned that when he throws a ball he needs to hold it in the free hand, not the gloved one and he learned how to run through first base, how to catch a ground ball, how to wear a helmet and how to drop his bat before running to first base. Not bad for a 45 minute practice.
