Paul worked on Easter Sunday so we asked the Easter Bunny if he could stop by on Thursday and he was more than accommodating. We dyed eggs on Wednesday night. This was Liam's first time dying eggs and it was only mildly nerve wracking watching him handle eggs and we only ended up making egg salad sandwiches twice this week due to cracked eggs.
He looks like he was enjoying himself.
After dying them we decorated them (and each other) with stickers.
Then we searched for them in the morning. Liam is making this face because he discovered that the Easter Bunny put a couple of mini Nutter Butters in some plastic eggs he left along the stairs so he opened and quickly consumed the contents of every egg he could get his hands on. His mouth was full.
There just might have been a few eggs that had some blue peeps in them as well. Not my ideal breakfast for my toddler but it's all the Bunny's fault.
The basket is now sitting high up on the kitchen counter, out of sight, waiting for Paul and I to raid it at our earliest convenience.
how fun... I love that you put the basket up for and adult raid later!
